Download "Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS" plugin for Microsoft Office 2007

With Microsoft releasing Office 2007 a new feature has found its way into the software. Now end-users of Microsoft Office 2007 will not have to buy a separate software to create PDF copies of their Office documents. Instead they can download the "Save as PDF" plugin that is available from Microsoft website.

The new plugin from Microsoft allows you to export and save any of your Microsoft Office documents including Access, Excel, Infopath, Word, Visio, Publisher, Powerpoint and OneNote into the PDF format or the XPS format.It also allows you to send as e-mail attachment in the PDF and XPS formats in a subset of these programs.

How to use this add-in ?

office2007_pdfAfter downloading and installing this "Save as PDF" add-in, open the document you want to convert to PDF. Now click on the Office icon on the left top and goto the "Save As" option. There you will see a "Save as PDF or XPS" button. Just click it and you will get a PDF copy of your required Office document.

So no more investing your dollars in an separate application like Adobe Acrobat, just for converting your documents into PDF.
