Want to know which songs are ruling the charts this week ? Now, you can using Google Music Trends. To be more precise, you can find the songs to which Google Talk users listen the most.


You can also find the top music tracks of the week country wise and genre wise using the drop down boxes available on top right.

Google Talk has a feature to show the track you are currently listening to as your present status in the IM. This data is sent by Google Talk to the Google servers which then filters the content and finds the tracks to which GTalk users listen the most.

If you want to disable music logging, then you can go to GTalk settings and disable music logging under the Audio preferences section.
